About Justification for Grooming
This exhibition was San Francisco artist Erin Gallup's sophomore conceptual art show. It examined the psychology of self-enhancing male and female beauty rituals.

It existed for one night and highlighted themes including the relationship between hair and identity, the persistent nature of grooming, and the trends of modern beauty standards.

About The Music
The musical score was unique to that evening and could never be repeated in the exact same way again. It was generated through a system created by Scott Weiser which programatically layered and altered music and sound components. The six hour score and its musical elements were all original and were composed and produced by Weiser.
